I am a successful homeschooling Mom who can help your children with distance learning. If you are a parent facing the challenges of children at home who need help with virtual learning, while you are trying to work remotely, I can help with the needed space, facility, and care.

My three children, ages 21, 20, and 16 have been successfully homeschooled from the time they started school. My two oldest graduated high school at the age of 16: my son has a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Rutgers University, and my daughter has an Associates Degree in Science and is now in the nursing program at Ocean County College. My youngest is entering 12th grade here at home. I have also tutored a number of children over the 30 years I have cared for children in my home, whether preparing them for school, or helping them excel in school.

I established an LLC a few years ago primarily so that the families I provide care for can deduct the child care expense on their taxes, but what I offer is not a business day care or any type of business atmosphere. We are deeply committed to a wholesome, loving, supportive, and educational family environment. We do not have TV, and without it, instead of missing it, children explore and discover and interact. We do have plenty of bandwidth for online learning and 7 acres where many children have thrived in a protected but relaxed setting, where playing outside is part of the fun of growing up and learning.

Providing a secure setting means children feel relaxed and confident, even if parents' schedules suddenly change. I am available at all hours and even over night if needed. The children we care for become part of our extended family; we enjoy sharing special moments with them, and look forward to learning what each one can teach us as well. We have a smoke-free home, plenty of bandwidth for online learning, and I am certified in CPR.

Huebner Corner is a special home that, for years, our child was cared for in a true learning environment, since age 6 months through kindergarten, and even now occasionally. It is not a daycare center where kids roam undisciplined. The scheduling is extremely flexible and punctual--early mornings, weekends, late evenings--which helped tremendously with our demanding work hours. We didn't even have to worry about meals, snacks, and homework. It is always hard to leave a child in the care of others, but Huebner Corner helped make lots of memories!

You NEVER have to worry or feel anxious when your child is with Ruth Huebner!!! Ruth has watched my two boys throughout the years. Owing to her exceptional work ethics and child care talents, she will be an asset to your family. She recognizes herself as a dedicated and hardworking individual, who is genuine. Ruth has a natural talent, which brings out positive development in children. I was always impressed on how she manages her time and her ability to multi/task. But what is even more impressive, is how she raised her three children. They are EXCEPTIONAL!!! I cannot recommend Ruth Huebner and her amazing family enough! I was a first-time mom when I dropped my 3-month old son off for the first time to stay with the family, while I went on a job interview. It was the best childcare decision I have ever made. Ruth took care of my son from 3mos old through his kindergarten graduation. I was commuting a distance to work and her flexibility, especially for my job as an attorney, was priceless. Further, my son had serious asthma issues, and she was adept at caring for him. Even when he was ill, I felt 100% safe leaving him in her skilled and loving care. Her children became like older siblings to mine and my son was truly made part of the family. As he got older, she would pick him up from nursery school and later kindergarten for me. Everyone at school grew fond of "Miss Ruth" too. Had we not moved out of the area, I'd probably still have her caring for my son post-school to this day. Having the 1-to-1 care (that you cannot get in a daycare,) cannot be replaced. And while I was unsure about the no TV rule initially, it was fantastic for my son. He played outside, took part in educational activities and was so much better off for it. Miss Ruth is still my go-to if I need an overnight sitter to this day. Mrs. Huebner is exceptional with children. She makes sure the children in her care have plenty of activities, as well as plenty of time to explore and learn. Most importantly, her home is extremely loving, safe and supportive. I have trusted her to care for my children for many years and highly recommend her as a caretaker.
