We met Gull 8 years ago when we were looking for daycare for our oldest! I was a very nervous first time mother and didn't want our daughter to stay with anyone and visited many daycares. But then we met Gull. She was loving and kind and warm and comforting and everything we were looking for to care for our daughter. She kept us updated on all of their milestones, felt strongly about sleep environments and importance of rest, helped with starting solids, potty training, and kept them as healthy as possible! Our first daughter was there for 5 years and still goes on days off from school and loves to visit. Our youngest has been there for 4.5 years and will head to preschool next year.
I can not say enough amazing things about gull and her family. Both of our girls have thrived there. I knew they were loved, well taken care of, and safe. They also learned a lot!! Gull's family is also amazing and treat the kids like family. They spend a lot of time outside, sing songs, and play!
I very highly recommend Gull's daycare!!

Gull is an amazing home daycare provider. As a first time mom and my son just turning 1 years old, I was worried that he wouldn't have the proper care, or attention needed. Gull cared for my son as if he were her own, he has such a great time with her. My son is now 2 and going to try KinderCare only to be around other kids his age, but if it doesn't work out, I am bringing him right back to Gull! She is very accommodating and provides great advice. I recommend her to anyone considering a home based provider, your child will be in great hands!

Gull cared for my daughter from when she was two months old to when she turned three years old--so almost three years! Gull is a very caring person who we immediately knew was the right caregiver for our daughter. Our daughter was always happy to go to "auntie's" house and was well-cared-for. Gull, being an experienced mother as well, was able to give us, as first time parents, great advice as well. I highly recommend her as a caregiver.

We met Gull when our son was 2 1/2 months and I was getting ready to go back to work. The last thing I wanted to do was leave my first born at a day care with someone I didn't know. The moment we met Gull, we felt at ease and how she immediately connected with our son, Eisa. Prior to visiting her, we went to numerous day cares and we were feeling pretty defeated. After our first meeting, we knew that we wanted Gull to take care of our son. Both my husband and I had demanding jobs and Gull took great care of our son. She's very knowledgeable about child development, she has great family values and amazing work ethics. Our son was under her care until he was almost three and we moved to San Diego. We couldn't have asked for a better day care provider than Gull for our son. Gull and her family are like family to us and our son still talks about them (he's 7yrs old now).

For the past 10 years ( yes, I said 10 YEARS) Gull Kashar had been the primary care giver for at least one of my 3 children. My 10 yr old started at 6mo and stayed until she was 4 and by that time our next child was born and then in Gull's expert care. Our third and final child is now in Gull's care and he adores her and the rest of the Kashar family. After having my children with Gull for 10 yrs, I can attest to many things about her care and love of children. Gull is a very professional care giver who is quick to communicate with parents at all times. Whether she is working on their developmental milestones or reinforcing routines, that parents provide, she will provide daily updates during pick up. Additionally, you can trust that your child will be experiencing age appropriate activities with focus on fun and limited to no technology/tv. The home daycare environment is one that I recommend to all when it is as clean and welcoming as Gull's home is. Additionally, you will find that Gull has an ever present patience and positive spirit that children are drawn too. All of our children have and continue to call her "Auntie" as they truly feel like a member of her family and she is a member of ours. It says a lot about her home when your child doesn't want to leave at the end of the day because they love it so much, and as a parent I do too. Entrusting your child to another person is a big step but when choosing Gull Kashar and her lovely family focused in-home day care you will feel great about going to work with your child in capable and skilled hands.

Gull Kashar has to be one of the kindest, loving, thoughtful, hard working, and most intelligent caregivers in this area. We entrusted our daughter Stella to her care from the time she was 10 weeks old to when she was ready to go into a Montessori preschool at age 2. Firstly, you must know that Gull's home is absolutely spotless, and her family is as kind and wonderful as she is. Secondly, Gull was always very conscientious about making sure that Stella was clean, well fed, and well rested when it was time for her to come home each day. The house never seemed chaotic at all. Thirdly, I don't believe she ever took much more than a couple days here and there off (very rare) and she plans her vacations to coincide with when her charges' families would typically also be on vacation (e.g., winter holidays). Finally, Gull is a very well educated woman who understands infant and child development quite well, speaks English at a native level, and communicates any concerns as well as achievements/items of note in a clear and consistent manner. You will be lucky to have your child in her care! My husband and I still marvel about how we felt so comfortable and happy with the care Stella received in those critical early years.
