I dropped my son off (11 months old)for a hour just for a trail to see how he would like it and to see how i would do since this is the first time he was watch by someone other than family. When i came back to get him he smiled and then took off running after the other kids...He even cried when we left the house. Diane is a wonderful lady and seemed to love her job. I feel very confident in leaving my son with her.

I can't say enough good things about Diane. She treats my 1 year-old daughter like her own. My daughter was formerly enrolled at the priciest daycare in Fort Mill, and the care my little one received there is no where near the quality that Diane provides for her now. You don't always get what you pay for with the big high-enrollment daycares that boast special nutrition programs and highly renowned educational curriculums. At the big daycare, my child was just a face in the crowd. The turnover rate there was high (she had 4 new teachers in 2 months). My daughter was only allowed to have one two-hour nap on their schedule and if she wanted to sleep any other time during the day, they would make her stay awake (not a good situation for a 1 year-old trying to adjust naptimes from infancy). In the evenings, she was inconsolably cranky and always acted like she was starving (which made me wonder if they were even monitoring if she was eating).
In contrast, Diane lets my daughter sleep whenever she needs to and in a quiet room away from the noise of other playing children. My daughter also never had an interest in books before, and now she can't get enough of them at home. Whenever I pick her up, Diane is usually reading books to the children as they sit together in a circle. TV is always off as she encourages the children to play outside or have activities together. When I bring my child home in the evenings, I can tell she is getting all of her needs met and she is being nourished. Bottomline: She is happy and content. And that is more of a tell-tale sign to me than anything. The care she receives is the care I would give her myself if I didn't have to work.
