About the business
I have been a licensed in-home family home daycare provider for over 22 years, and I love what I do! It is a privilege to be able to help your young children grow into good friends and kind people. We have a lot of fun learning and exploring and spend as much time as we are able outside.
The preschool program used is Experience Preschool with a monthly theme that incorporates math, science, art, dramatic play, language and social/emotional skills. This is used as a base for our learning. The children also have opportunities to learn through play which is very important at this age. I believe structure and predictability is important to children, but am also flexible in following the needs and ideas of the children. If there is a unexpected sunny or snowy around here, we are going to take full advantage! If your child has an inquiry into learning about something, you bet we are going to explore that!
I have my state ECE certificate and have spent 4 years as an assistant ECEAP teacher in the Snohomish School District.
This program also serves school age children for Riverview elementary and transportation to and from the bus stop in provided in my 12 passenger van.
We have a really great group of kids here and would love to add you to your little one to out daycare family!
All meals are provided while in care.

Here We Grow Daycare is the most amazing place! My daughter was there for three years. If I could have kept her there full-time for Kindergarten I would have. Lisa is the kindest and sweetest caregiver. She helped my daughter gain more confidence, positive social skills, creativity in art and play, and strong beginning academic strengths. Everyday my daughter would come home with fun stories of playtime inside and outside, art projects, and a huge smile. I feel so lucky that we will have Lisa's friendship even after my daughter no longer needs full-time care. I highly recommend Here We Grow Daycare!

This daycare is outstanding. Lisa loves each child she cares for and offers a home like environment with tons of structure and creative opportunities for the kids to learn. I love that she takes them outside as often as she can and how she teaches so many social and emotional skills while they are crafting or playing. She has a lot of experience both as a child care worker and a mother. This is the day care of all day cares. Lisa has super powers, she has a level of patience and care that is so special. A lot of times you don't get both, highly structured and highly creative but here you do! She keeps it small and the kids bond so beautifully. She will love your child and probably love you too. I couldn't recommend it any more highly! If you are lucky enough to get a spot take it!

My Son has been with Lisa for 7 years and she has loved and cared for him so well over the years. She keeps a great home I environment while still teaching. With COVID Lisa took on so much extra with such a great outlook even when I didn't! I am so glad we have her!

Lisa has been caring for my children for a year. We all love her and feel blessed to have found her. She is supportive, kind, mature, communicative. Her daycare is child focused and the kids are engaged, happy, and respond well to Lisa.
