At Harlem Sprouts Nursery our mission is to provide childcare that meets the need of each child and family in a safe, educational and fun environment. The focus is on the individual needs of eachchild, while having the confidence that your child is in a safe and fun environment. We provide quality care with a safe environment where children can use their potential to develop and grow. Our environment fosters independence, and satisfies the child's intellectual, creative, and emotional needs. We engage in practical life exercises, as well as sensory activities. We believe children learn by experimenting and playing, hands-on inquiry-based open-ended activities.When children are able to apply their learning to meaningful topics they can relate to; it promotes a desire to stay actively engaged in the learning process by seeing, hearing and touching. Happy, loved, and connected children are destined for success. We build partnerships with our families because no one knows your child better than you. To meet all of the child's needs, we believe the family and childcare providers must work as a team. Our program is designed to compensate hard working schedules, and even those with complicated schedules.
