About the business
I am listed with the state of Texas. I truly enjoy spending my days helping to develop loving, caring, smart little ones. I work with the children while they play to teach colors, shapes, ABC's, potty training, good manners, and how to be a friend. I also teach baby sign. Babies learn it very quickly, making it easier to communicate with them, and that means less tantrums. I use programs and apps with the children to get an early start on computer skills and preparing for kindergarten. I also use the A Beka nursery and preschool program. We do yoga and go on daily walks. In warm weather we have sand and water play. There are no extra charges I provide everything your little ones need with the exception of pull-ups or diapers. Our days are scheduled and structured. I'm able to provide more one on one time and attention because I only take a few children at a time. I am also flexible, when children aren't feeling well or we have bad weather we adjust our day accordingly. I am a very loving, caring, gentle mother and I always treat children with the love, kindness and respect with which I want others to treat my children. I always follow the wishes and instructions of the parents. I take my job very seriously in providing a loving, safe environment for children to grow and learn. I hope to hear from you soon.

Georgia is a phenomenal nanny. She is patient, kind, and teaches our son so much. It is clear that she loves him and our fur baby as well. She is great about sending updates throughout the day and is always prompt. Georgia has become part of our family. I highly recommend her!

I just want to start by saying Georgia is amazing, can't say that enough! Our son was with her until 18 months and couldn't love her more. With Georgia you're not just getting a nanny you're getting another family member. People constantly are amazed with how well behaved and well mannered our son is with as much as we work I know that came from her. She checks in constantly even after he went to school closer to my husband's job(which was a mistake) just to make sure he was doing well so it was only natural when I got pregnant we immediately reached out in hopes to have a spot, when it started looking like she wouldn't our first thought was I had to become a stay at home mom because I trusted no one else with our daughter. Luckily we got a spot and couldn't be happier we get constant pictures, and updates. She's very detailed in everything that goes on for the day and she works with the crazy inconsistent schedules we have. When it comes to your kids you can't be in safer hands then ms. Georgia!

Ms. Georgia found me when I posted an ad about needing childcare. I was being picky and unsure at first because my 2 year old has never been left with anyone besides family but he has absolutely loved it since the first day. Ms. Georgia is great with the kids and I love how there are only a few kids at a time. My husband and I love getting pictures of the activities the children are doing for the day. Whether it be playing, eating, napping or going for their walks. I haven't considered her a babysitter but a childcare provider. I would highly recommend her!

I am VERY skeptical about who I leave our daughter, Daisy, with. We have only had bad experiences, even with family members, until we met Georgia. Before dropping her off for the first full day, I warned Georgia about her temper and how hard it is to get her to nap with out nursing. She sent me plenty of pictures through out the day of our happy girl, including one of her napping peacefully. Georgia is THE BABY WHISPERER! Daisy just adores her and so do we. :)

We found Ms. Georgia on care.com and could not be happier. She took my son in and made him one of her own. She is an answer to our prayers, and we are truly grateful that she has a spot for us. My son has already started talking and napping better since he started staying with her. She offers us part time care, which is something very hard to find. Her home is clean, and very well organized. She is structured, caring, and knowledgeable. We have only trusted family to watch him until this point, so this was a big step for us. I trust her completely, and my son adores her. So So happy to have her!

Ms. Georgia's Home Daycare is EXACTLY what we were looking for for our 18 month old son. We wanted the personal attention and customization of a home care provider with the structure and learning opportunities provided in some daycares. Georgia provides just that. She is intentional about teaching the children new skills and about new topics but allows them to do it organically as they play. Her home is clean and inviting, and our son loves coming in each morning to eat a healthy breakfast and play. Our sleep challenged child also has begun sleeping taking full naps on a cot while at Ms. Georgia's (my husband and I though this would be an impossible task, but not for Georgia!). Georgia cares deeply about all of the children in her care and strives daily to work with them and their parents to make sure they are comfortable and are getting the most out of their time with her. I would highly recommend Georgia's Home Daycare to anyone looking for childcare in the Mesquite area.

I found Ms. Georgia this morning after learning that the daycare where my son would go for occasional drop ins was completely full. I had a last minute job interview to go to in Mckinney and I was a little apprehensive about just dropping my son off and leaving but when we walked in I fell in love with how clean and tidy all the toys were! I also loved that the first question Ms. Georgia asked was what does my son like to do when he needs comfort. Of course my son cried (I could even hear him from outside) but minutes later I received text messages and pictures showing me that he had calmed down and eventually fallen asleep! You don't meet people that truly care about your kids everyday and I am so thankful Ms. Georgia was able to help me out on such a last minute! I will definitely bring my son back again!

I can't say enough about how lucky we were to find Georgia. Riley is our first and only son and we were scared to death to leave him somewhere without us. We met Georgia and decided that was about as comfortable as we were going to get with someone. A year into her caring for him I wouldn't leave him with anyone else. There is a difference between someone who cares for your child and someone who brings your child into their family. Riley is crazy about Georgia, he light up every time he sees her and makes me feel confident and comfortable leaving him to go to work. We have so much faith in Georgia we have let Riley spend the night when work dictates and take a couple of day trips out to east Texas with her. She is amazing! We are lucky to have her. Georgia doesn't just make sure your child is okay, she takes time to educate them and really treats every child uniquely to make sure they have the best care possible. She really is the best and she has saved the lives of a couple people who both work 60+ hours a week and don't have to worry about their only child's safety and well being when we can't be with him. I can't recommend her enough!

Georgia provided a very active-caring childcare service for our son. They stay active with outdoor activities, monthly outings, and abcmouse.com. She is very dependable and trustworthy!

Georgia cared for our son for a year until we had to move for work- and we wish every day we could have brought her with us. We can't say enough good things about her daycare- she is reliable, organized, structured, but truly loving and caring towards the kids, and it's amazing how much they learn in a non-forced play environment with her! Baby sign, baby yoga, ABC's, colors and shapes are all taught while playing and doing activities, so that the children love learning. Respect for peers and kind behavior is also reinforced. The kids are kept active. not babysat by TV. Georgia is the ONLY person I trusted with my son's care when we had to find daycare quickly, and we would recommend her in a heartbeat. We miss her!

Our daughter has been going to Georgia's for a year, our son has been going for 6 months. We are EXTREMELY happy with the care they receive at Mrs. Georgia's. She is caring and kind. She is structured. My daughter has learned so much in regards to letters, colors, shapes, and numbers...as well as social skills. Georgia does a wonderful job making sure the kids get out and enjoy pretty weather with trips to the park, walks around the block, or field trips. I trust Georgia completely with my children...and that is KEY when choosing a caregiver.
