Welcome to Gateway Montessori Preschool. We are so pleased that you have stopped by our location in Whittier, Our facility offers an innovative and creative Montessori program for children ages 3mon - 6 years. Offering a bespoke curriculum for your young child that is rooted in the Montessori tradition, we aim to nurture the hearts, minds, and souls of all children entering our doors.
Our classroom environment is carefully designed to encourage children to grow through interaction and individuality, as children learn through hands-on experience with lessons along the way.
Our classrooms are designed with areas of practical life, sensorial, math, language, cultural and manipulative materials. The materials in each of these curriculum areas reinforce the underlying objectives of concentration, order, coordination and independence. Our curriculum also consists of weekly themes.
Programs
Gateway Montessori Preschool offers programs specifically designed to support the unique developmental stages of children ages 16 months through kindergarten. Academically, emotionally, and socially, children thrive in our programs as they interact with their environment through student choice, hands-on materials, mixed-age classrooms, and the comprehensive Montessori curriculum.
