We are a Preschool Program inspired by Forest School, Waldorf, Reggio & Montessori. The child to teacher ratio is 7:1 providing a quality class experience. Our curriculum is emergent constructivist, focusing on the child's interests and following seasonal themes. Our DLI (Dual Language Immersion) in Spanish is intergraded throughout the day. A child's week consists of: STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts & Mathematic) activities. We focus on emotions during social circle time & learning stations

Hello, Welcome! I'm Mrs. Nubia. So happy you found Children's Nature Academy! A little about me... I studied and graduated in Early Childhood Development and Administrative Office Assistant. My experience consists of over 20 years in the field of education at School Districts, Summer Camp, Hospital Child Care, YMCA Preschool as well as Before & After School Programs. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with various age groups, from infants to children in Elementary. It was in my heart to start a nature preschool with a fun environment which children would learn through hands on exploration of the world around them. After having children of my own, I was ready to take on that journey!
Enrollment:
Our Preschool & Pre-K Program is year round for children 2 to 6 years old. We assist parents/guardians in their child's toilet transition. School Age Children ages 6-10 years old may attend after school for school breaks: Spring & Summer
Tuition Includes:
Nutritious meals, personal water cup, baby wipes, ointment, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, art materials, curriculum, events & field trips

I worked with Nubia when she was previously an administrative assistant at my school. She is very organized and always on top of what needs to be done. When working with students and parents, Nubia always keeps the student's best interest in mind. She is a great communicator and works well with others. She is also enthusiastic about teaching young children through fun and exciting hands on experiences in nature.

This school is so absolutely phenomenal, from the Montessori style set up to the owner. I worked with her at the Hoag Child Care Center for many years and she has the biggest heart. She will love your babies like they're her own. I would feel 100% comfortable leaving my babies with her. If you're looking for a safe, loving environment that your child will thrive in ... this is most definitely the right place for you!!
