Like all the other moms here, I love Fran and strongly encourage you to consider her for your infant's care. I have known Fran for nearly 10 years!! Before I had children I knew she ran a daycare, and I was always impressed by her kind and caring demeanor. Fran has provided childcare for our first child, then our second child for total ~4 years. She is punctual, reliable, and committed to her work. Fran loves all the children that come to her home, and it is reflected in my children's love of her. Facing COVID, Fran is calm and supportive, and works with families to protect the health of everyone. I have had live in nanny and regular nanny, and none has been as dependable as Fran, who is respectful of parents' time and work. We are sad to move on to Preschool, but I know my son has been well socialized, and has met all his developmental markers, and is ready for Preschool. If there is an opening available, I strongly recommend you don't pass it up!

Where do I even begin? Words cannot explain how thankful we are to have found Fran and to have our daughter in her care. Fran started watching our daughter when she just four months old up until she just turned two years old. As first-time and working parents, we felt extremely uneasy when it was time to take our daughter to daycare, however, Fran completely eased our minds and took all the worry away. Fran loves our daughter like she is part of her family, and our daughter gets so excited when going to her house. She works with you and your baby during developmental milestones and encourages them and works with them - walking, talking, interactive play, colors, shapes, etc. She is also such a great sounding board and wealth of knowledge for us as first time parents. If you are looking for loving, supportive, knowledgable, and experienced care for you baby, look no further. Fran is the sweetest and the absolute best! Thank you Fran for everything you've done for us. We love you and will miss you so much!

If I could rate Fran 10 stars, I would do it! As a single mom and someone who had to return to work when my daughter was only 8 weeks old, Fran was the only part of the first year of my child's life that was completely stress-free. I was looking for daycare providers and not coming up with anyone with availability, but I was so fortunate that Fran had a spot pop up right before I called and inquired. She eased my anxiety about leaving my daughter to go back to work and everything about her home and her routine was exactly what my daughter needed at that time. We were going to Fran when COVID began and the other babies at daycare were pulled out due to the pandemic, but my daughter was fortunate enough to have Fran all to herself for months. Both my daughter and I came to love Fran dearly as a member of our family. It was devastating when it was time to move on to preschool. We honestly still haven't fully recovered, but we are so grateful and feel so fortunate to have had such an amazing lady in our lives. We love you, Fran!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED FRAN! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER! Our daughter went to her from 4 months until we had to move away at 15 months and our experience was wonderful!

Oh Fran! We love her so! Our daughter is currently in her care, and she gives us such peace of mind. My mother in law (who ran a home daycare for over 30 years before retiring), met her right before our daughter started and gave her a huge thumbs up, which means a lot coming from another care provider. She's really like family and loves your baby so much. She works with us and is so flexible. We couldn't love Fran more!

Fran has been such a blessing to our family. Our daughter spent almost 2 years with Fran in her home daycare...beginning when she was about 3 1/2 months old. Fran is so attentive and patient with each child she cares for to meet their individual developmental needs. Fran took such great care in making sure our daughter advanced in her learning with knowing her ABCs, counting, and colors. We can't say enough about Fran as a care provider and as a person. She earned our complete trust and, as a result, our lasting friendship!

Both my son and daughter spent two years with Fran and it was a wonderful experience. Fran is nurturing, loving, and kind. When you leave your child in her care you feel at ease knowing they are in a happy, healthy home.

This is not Fran Dunne's Daycare. Please look up the licenses with the state. There is another provider with the same name in San Diego. I can see from the reviews that this Fran Dunne is lovely, but the other one is not. Do not be confused, compare the license numbers.

Francesca has been taking care of our daughter since she was 10 weeks old. As a first time mom I was pretty emotional when I had to drop her off for the first weeks but Francesca was wonderful and our little girl has really thrived in her care. With 14 months she is spunky, walks and even says "good girl" now. Francesca's home is spotless clean, light and friendly and the room for the little ones is thoughtfully decorated and equipped with toys that are age appropriate. I can see daily that she truly cares about the kids: she is very responsible and puts a lot of effort in supporting us as parents with expert advice and she treats all of the babies like family. What I particularly like about Francesca is that she is very accommodating and respectful in terms of parenting choices. If you are looking for a nurturing and loving place for your child we would recommend Francesca without hesitation! We are moving to North County and are super sad that we have to look for a new day care now, it is going to be hard to compete with Francesca.

We wanted an in-home daycare that was convenient to our home with a small ratio of care giver to children. After touring a few locations near downtown San Diego, we thought we were doomed and would have to scrap our wish list. Then we met Fran, our saving grace. "Auntie Fran" watched our daughter for approximately 20 months and we couldn't be happier. Her home is welcoming, clean, and organized. The play room is age appropriate and the toys are educational. You can rest assured your loved one is in great hands with Fran. If you meet Fran and are lucky enough to have an opening, don't pass up this opportunity!

I toured a few Day Care facilities before having the fortune of finding Fran's Day Care. As a first time mom, after seeing the Day Care options available, I was very worried and losing hope of finding the perfect person to trust my little one before returning to work. But I found her, Fran is amazing! she does a wonderful job caring, loving, and helping with the development of my little one. I couldn't be happier, I feel good knowing that my baby is in great hands.

Fran had my 2 kids from 4 months to 3 years old. One is now 9 years(2007) and the other is 7 years(2009). I drove from Eastlake to Mission Hills because having someone take care of my children like her own gave me peace of mind! I was able to drop off my kids in the morning and know that they were going to get treated well and taken care of! My kids remember her and would love to go back! A great experience for them!!

If I could, I'd leave another star. We've with Fran since my daughter was 3 months old (2012). She has provided care for her and for my son who is now 2.5 years old. She's been an integral part of their lives and ours. Fran is family!
Her daycare is welcoming, friendly, clean, educational, and most of all, loving. She cared for our children as if they were hers. Fran is kind, dedicated, and compassionate. I can not express our gratitude for her services.
Note: Her rates are competitive. And she makes a mean Italian cookie!

Fran is a fantastic daycare provider with over 20 years of experience. She has taken care of my daughter for over a year. I couldn't be happier! She is hands on, loving and nurturing. I can relax in knowing my baby is being very well taken care of. I highly recommend Fran's Day Care!
