Ellie's Family Daycare is a new educational and care taking facility in the sunset with a professional director with 25 years experience with children. At this facility, we provide a clean and safe environment, creative activities and educational games, and healthy, organic food.
We accept kids from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6 pm.

Our programs:
-Learning by Playing:
The facility is organized based on activities for three group ages: infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. These activities that cover science, math, music, sensory and much more, are to develop the five motor skills that include, gross, fine motor, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Our lesson plans are rewritten every week based on the children's interest. We have a unique program to make a portfolio of every child as their growth in our facility. This portfolio is established by the weekly pictures taken of the children's activities as they grow in the facility.
-Some of our special programs carry:
learning music using instruments such as xylophone, and piano.
Child yoga,
Learning a second language (Farsi),
Creative and moment activities.
-Our program offers the best services such as:
we serve all organic food, cooked meals, vegetable, fresh juice, fruits, and snacks.
Infants sit in high chairs and older kids at a table.
Changing the diaper every two hours.
Crib sheets that are changed weekly.
All daycare materials, such as high chair, counter, diaper changer, toys, and Cribs are consistently sanitized and cleaned through out the day.

Teacher, Elham, is a mother of two kids. The oldest son studies pre-med in college, and the youngest is a very active and intelligent boy in elementary. He plays soccer and piano and is very successful in school. The director has a bachelor in education, and 20 years experience teaching in elementary school. She received an AA degree in early childhood education that includes infant, toddler, art, and music units, and five-year experience working at a preschool.

Ellie's Family Daycare has been wonderful for our daughter!
Our daughter started here when she was 18 months old. We had a tough start at first -- it was almost a year into the COVID-19 pandemic and our daughter had spent no time with anyone outside of our immediate family. She had separation anxiety and we were worried she wouldn't be able to adjust. But Elham was so warm and patient with her, and had lots of ideas to make the transition successful. The first week was tough but after that our daughter bloomed! She was excited to go to daycare, and cheerful when we picked her up.
Since then, her vocabulary and social skills have continued to grow. We appreciate how Elham works with each child individually to help them learn new skills. For example - our daughter started saying please and thank you (didn't learn it from us!) and teaching us new songs that she learned at daycare. She's not yet 3 years old and she's already learned the alphabet, counting past 10, and can recognize letters and numbers.
Elham works really hard to provide tasty meals and snacks, and does a good job with picky eaters like our daughter. They do a lot of different art projects each week and it's been fun to see how proud our daughter is when she brings them home. Elham also takes care to make the kids feel special on their birthdays and on holidays, and sends pictures so that you don't feel like you're missing out.
We can't recommend this daycare enough, and we're excited to send our newborn daughter once she's ready.

Ellie's Family Daycare has been a wonderful place for our son! We first brought him there when he was 11 months old and are sadly leaving two years later to attend a big school. Elham Azar is warm and loving, thoughtful, responsible, accommodating, observant and sensitive to all the complexities of children's needs. She is also a fabulous cook of nutritious Persian cuisine that our son has heartily enjoyed. Her daycare environment is happy and playful, but always with structure, discipline and age appropriate education. Our son has been very happy there -- he loves Elham and her family and has enjoyed the other adorable children she cares for (both younger and older than him). It is painful to leave but we are so grateful that he has had such a great start to his social and educational development. We strongly recommend Ellie's Family Daycare!

Our daughter has been at Ellie Daycare since 14 months, and now is almost 3. She has such a good time with Elham and her peers, and in this environment continues to blossom into a kind, coordinated, and brilliant little girl. Elham has always encouraged and included us parents in exploring the progression of her fine and gross motor skills; through many art projects, new songs, and endless dancing, learning is great fun!
There is great communication so we're all working toward the same goals for our most important person.
I can't speak highly enough to the level of attention and care kids receive with her. It's a great place for little ones to learn and grow; I could go on and on...!

We are so glad that we found Ellie's Daycare! Elham is smart, warm, caring, and professional. Our 18-month-old daughter LOVES going to her and we feel confident that she is in the best hands a;; day. Elham provides age-appropriate actives as well as outdoor time, and serves wonderful meals and snacks. This place is a real gem!

Our 6-month-old son goes to Ellie Daycare and we have had a very positive experience there. Elham is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and really cares about our son. She's very accommodating to his schedule and he sleeps and eats very well. She provides lots of activities and attention throughout the day. Our son is happy to be dropped off and is happy when pick him up at the end of the day.

Teacher Elham is a very experienced teacher. She knows how to communicate with children. There are a variety of interesting and educational activities to raise a child ready for kindergarten.
