About the business
Early Learning Express is a successful, progressive school readiness program that has been in business for 17 years. We pride ourselves on giving children a lot of individual attention and making learning fun. The program was created based on studies at UVA, FCPS, Falls Church City schools and many years of experience with young children. The curriculum includes reading and math skills, science and nature exploration, social skills, outdoor play, art and music. Excellent references will be provided upon request. I have spent the last 25 years teaching young children, my passion. My education includes a Bachelor degree in Natural Sciences and studies in teaching reading with UVA.. After teaching head start, helping set up a Family literacy program and teaching in a special needs pre-k, I decided to strike out on my own 17 years ago. I have excellent references.
