After 1 1/2 years of searching in frustration for a quality in-home child care provider for my 3 year old son, a very reputable source recommended Diane's Daycare. I am now a firm believer that research and referrals are of upmost importance when searching for quality child care.

From our 1st visit only 2 weeks ago to Diane's Daycare it was evident that Diane had the very traits I had been looking for in a child care provider. Her demeanor is consistently friendly and positive. She has a genuine and natural affinity for children and posseses a strong ability to empathise with their needs. She truly enjoys the time she spends with them and exhibits a high level of motivation to help them. She is extremely patient and remains calm and in control when presented with challenging moments. Diane has excellent communication skills with both the parents and children. When she speaks the children listen. When she moves they follow. She provides structure during play time and teaches age-appropriate concepts like sharing and taking turns at play. As an active participant in the children's lives she notices everything they do. She is qualified to handle emergency situations, provides very healthy meals and snacks and is outgoing and physically fit allowing her to keep up at a toddler's pace.
Her quality care has eased my mind and workload allowing me to obtain employment and housing in just two very short weeks. The level of security she provides is simply priceless.
THANK YOU DIANE!!

Our 2 year old son have been going to Diane's daycare for almost a year and we LOVE Diane. Our son adores her too. She does such a wonderful job with all of the kids she cares for. We couldn't ask for anyone better! She is so sweet to our son. He likes his cuddles in the morning and sometimes when I drop him off, Diane has my son and another little one both sitting in her lap on the couch for some cuddle time.
She keeps her house and the play room spotless! I don't know where she gets all the energy from! She also has a big back yard with plenty of toys.
We feel so lucky to have found her!!

Diane's Daycare was my son's first experience outside of our home and amongst his peers. First off, Diane had an incredibly acute understanding of toddlers' developmental needs, and was able to meet our family where we were at in terms of getting to know my son, helping my son and I to adjust with the separation, and encouraging my son's developmental growth. Prior to finding Diane, I had interviewed many different providers, but in meeting her I knew that she would be the perfect match for us. In addition to her deep understanding of children and vast experience, she provided a safe, clean, and comforting environment for the kids.

After my son started at Diane's I immediately noticed that he made a few developmental jumps. He started coming out of his shell with his friends, he started counting to ten on his own (at 18 months!), and he started to look forward to getting to Diane's house in the morning. Diane was able to reinforce the things my son was learning at home, as well as to teach him new things. I loved that she stood up for non-violence amongst the kids, and I could see that they all had an understanding of not hitting or being violent with each other, and trusted that she would look out to make sure that that happened. She also not only provided the kids with meals, but impeccable meals at that! They ate homegrown organic fruits and veggies, as well as delicious food that Diane prepared herself.

It was difficult for us to say goodbye to Diane when we did (we relocated to a different part of the state), but I would highly recommend her to parents looking for a warm, responsible, knowledgeable caregiver for their children. As a first time mom with a lot of anxiety about placing my son in daycare, Diane really did provide a "home away from home" environment that my son loved and thrived within. She is top notch!!

A co-worker referred Diane to us in 2010 when my son just turned 1 year old. Transitioning from home care to Daycare was extremely hard for my son but Diane was a pillar of strength for me and my husband at the time. Being aware of the separation anxiety that my son had, she went above and beyond to look after him while managing 4 other kids. She encouraged me to call and check in on my son so i could feel better.

My son being a very picky eater, Diane made food time fun and provided home cooked meals for both Breakfast and lunch. My son ate better with her than at home. As a working parent, not having to worry about preparing meals was a BIG plus for us.

Diane took the kids for strolls, in summer she would have activities planned for the kids and the kids loved this. She was also very mindful of any instructions that I gave with nap time or not giving particular foods which made working with Diane awesome.

Diane is not just a caregiver but more like a family member that we trust and we have recommended over 6 families to her in the last 4 years. Our son still talks about going to Diane's house and enjoys his stay over summer or spring breaks.

My husband and I could not have picked a more wonderful day care for our son. We moved him from a day care we were not pleased with when he was 13 months old and found Diane's Day care through a co-worker. After meeting Diane, we both looked at each other and knew she was the right fit and started our son at her day care the next day. Diane has become part of our family as our son quickly grew to love and trust her, had fun every day playing and learning with friends, and felt safe and comforted. My husband and I took comfort in knowing that Diane catered to our son's dietary needs on top of the needs of several other children. She exposed him to new foods and our picky eater ate better there than he did at home. We loved that Diane took the kids outside daily on long walks around the neighborhood and played in the backyard. Diane is very nurturing, friendly, and exceeded our expectations in regards to communication. Our son stayed at Diane's Daycare until he transitioned to preschool, which she helped him prepare for including potty training. There are very few people we feel comfortable leaving our son with and Diane is one of them!
