Hello, My name is Debra and I operate My Learning Begins Here. I am an In-home child care provider with over 25 years of experience and a background in early childhood development.
I create and develop a childcare curriculum that provides age appropriate learning for children, ages infant through five years. A combination of traditional and technology based educational approaches are practiced.
A monthly calendar is shared with parents detailing daily activities, along with progress reports and personalized children's portfolios.
I take pride in encouraging the children to become confident and curious thinkers. Age appropriate STEM activities are incorporated daily, along with language arts, music, dance/movement, nature exploration, outdoor free play and field trips.
