I have been in the early childhood education field for over 13 years, working with young children in all age groups in both centers and family child care. I am passionate about the early childhood field and a staunch advocate for the importance of quality experiences during the first few years of life. In my program, I focus on providing children with activities and experiences that are engaging and promote learning.

I believe that a strong social/emotional foundation provides a basis from which all other areas of development and learning can grow. I use the research-based Creative Curriculum for Family Childcare to guide in the creation of my lesson plans. I also use the Ages & Stages Assessment Tool to ensure children are meeting their milestones and learning objectives. Lesson plans reflect the ages, abilities, and interests of the children in my care and are tailored for their specific needs. My childcare is a pet-friendly and smoke-free environment, with a fully fenced backyard that has plenty of space for running, playing and exploring.
