About the business
Amanecer Academy is a 100% Spanish Immersion Childcare Center on Bethany for children from 24 months to Kindergarten age. We are currently accepting applications and will be opening our doors August 15th 2018.
Children who go to Amanecer Academy will take advantage of the benefits of bilingualism. Based on current research being bilingual has profound effects on the brain. Some of those benefits Include:
-Improved cognitive skills
-Better school performance then monolingual counterparts
-Better attention spans
-Health benefits including less incidents of Alzheimer and dementia and many more.
We are based on the Reggio Emilia approach to childcare. The Reggio Emilia Approach originated in the town and surrounding areas of Reggio Emilia in Italy out of a movement towards progressive and cooperative early childhood education.

We believe that children are protagonist in their own learning. By building on each child's strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Currently we have 3 staff /owners
We are all from Honduras Central America and have years of teaching and Counseling experience. We love children and have a passion for teaching Spanish as well as helping parents with the hard transition of returning to the workforce.
