Welcome to Alvarez Daycare! This family owned child care business has been running for over 23 years. We have 2 large indoor playrooms full of toys including a 'Big Climber' and swings; along with a large backyard with outdoor pre-k activities. We watch ages from infancy to school aged kids, we also consider a pick up and drop off program for the school aged children for before and after school. We provide pre-k learning, such as reading and writing. Our hours are from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. We are closed on weekends. We accept all state funding programs. I only ever attended a tour of this childcare and never actually sent my children there. I was horrified by what I saw at the tour. The child-adult ratio was noticeably off, as she had so many kids but only 2 staff (herself included). She also practiced unsafe sleep with the youngest kids and when I asked about it, she had no idea what "safe sleep" was. As a childcare worker you are supposed to be trained and knowledgeable about such things. I would never, ever, EVER recommend this childcare to anyone.

The owner hates children, is horribly mean to them once their parents leave. She locks even infants outside in an Arizona when they cry so she doesn't have to listen to them.
