Your day will involve providing companionship to a very kind 68-year-old man who is beginning to lose his memory. It will include helping with two small dogs doing activities with him, which is mostly walking the dogs in the neighborhood, preparing his meals doing some exercises with him and talking with him. He requires no help with feeding or or bathroom activities. He loves dogs, history doing artwork and taking walks. The person must be patient because he is losing his memory and be able to cook. The person must be kind and willing to talk to him. We prefer minimal use the TV. The caregiver should have an understanding of what type of activities are appropriate for somebody in the middle stage of Alzheimer's. Yes there is parking in the neighborhood and there is a bus stop at the end of the street. He has two dogs. Both dogs are elderly. The first dog is a Yorkshire terrier and the second dog is a poodle mix. Both dogs are small and very loving.
