I'm looking for a great summer nanny for a 16-month-old boy. Both parents work from home, but could use some assistance in watching our active son during the day. Our son begins daycare mid-August, but we could use some help over the summer. Great opportunity for college students on summer break to make a little extra money. Please note, we do have a small dog (cavapoo).

We are looking for a great nanny for 2 children. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is comfortable with pets, who is CPR certified and who has college degree. A nanny who is also a mom would be a bonus. Looking for light house work, when able and someone who will PLAY and run around with 2 active boys.

About who needs care: I am showing signs of early dementia. My current caregiver is moving out of state on June 29, so I would ideally like to find someone before that date. My most important things are taking my meds on time/correctly, getting transportation to/from my doctor appointments (mileage reimbursement available), managing finances/paying bills, and having a companion to do things with, as I am unable to leave my apartment without someone. I like to watch various TV shows, and sometimes go to fitness gym in Culpeper to use their pool for exercise. I typically am up around 6-6:30am, as I take my AM meds at 7 a.m. I would normally have someone come in around 9-10 a.m. to discuss needs for the day, and stay no later than 5 p.m. (or whatever else works for your schedule, I am flexible!) This does not have to be an everyday thing, but we can talk more about that! Please note, I am a smoker. About the care needs: I'm pretty introverted, so someone more reserved and not loud would be my preference. Being motivated is great, especially since I tend to have low energy during the day if I am home by myself. Someone who can explain things so that I understand them is a must- I often don't catch what all my doctors say when I go to appointments, or I forget. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
