I am currently finishing up my masters degree in occupational therapy! I graduate in May. My clinical rotations were skilled nursing facility and early intervention. Currently, I work as a rehab aide at an acute inpatient rehab that involves working with a variety of diagnoses and conditions and age ranges from 30-100. I am a flexible and hard working individual! I have strong time management skills and have always had a passion for helping people, especially the older population.

I like caring for seniors because I like to advocate for seniors and assist and support this vulnerable population. I have started to work with children at 16 but didn't have a serious job until 17 when I began working at an after school program. I am very comfortable working with more than 1 child and love being able to do crafts or play outside. Now that I am in college, majoring in elementary education, I substitute occasionally at the public schools too. I love working with children and it is my passion. When you hire me you know I am not just there for the job, but because I love it! I am working on getting a car but I wouldn't mind walking them to or from school if the distance allows, or going to local parks and things of that nature. I have gone to many trainings with topics such as SEL, outdoor/risky play, and environmental safety.

There I evaluated patients, created goals, & implemented interventions to help maximize safety & independence with ADLs, med management, cooking, & more. Interventions included strength, balance, cognitive, fine/ gross motor skills, home evals, adaptive device & family/caregiver training etc. I have 6 yrs experience working for a home health care company & am dementia + CPR certified.
