Patient, enthusiastic and experienced English tutor
| I am a qualified Teach First English Academic Mentor with over 1200 hours of tutoring experience across KS3 and KS4 (including GCSE preparation). I am a friendly, patient, and creative tutor who enjoys finding new ways to help students engage with and gain confidence in the subject. I am passionate about English and about making the subject accessible to students who find it challenging. I have worked with students of varying abilities and needs, including students with special education needs (Dyslexia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and visual impairment), as well as students who have high attainment but can be pushed further. I enjoy tutoring and working with students to develop an understanding, enjoyment, and confidence in English which they can then take with them into the classroom or exam hall.

Hello! I am a third year student at university. I am a pro at essay writing and am an avid bookworm!
| I believe teaching is all about the student, the main focus as a tutor should their needs and learning style. I believe that there is no wrong way for a student to learn and I apply this to my work. If I was to describe my teaching style in one word it would be: flexible! I spend the first lesson getting to know the pupil, I use this opportunity to find out their likes and dislikes so I can tailor the teaching to their interests while covering all necessary bases. Once this is done the real work can begin! Personally tailored lessons that engage the student more so than in school. I have been a trained English Language tutor since November 2021 and already have multiple happy clients. I am also qualified and comfortable teaching all skill levels and have SEND training, so this will not be a problem. I primarily teach lessons online but am available for in person lessons dependent on location. I am available and qualified to teach from KS3 to A-level and my rates are flexible. I am approachable, friendly and patient and I have received a special mention from another tutor site for my positive reviews from my students.
