Special Needs Care in Skelmersdale

| over 10 yrs experience of working with children with Special Needs - 5 yrs on Outreach Team in Co Durham as a Specialist Nursery Nurse, working with children with autism, global delay, speech delay and physical disabilities. Worked 1:1 with a child with autism through from Reception Class to Year 6. Have experience working with outside agencies, writing care plans and delivering specialist programmes.

| My special needs experience comes from my little brother. He has been diagnosed with autism and adhd and I apart from my mum I am the only other human being he is believed to understand what may be going on in his head, g is very particular and solid on the thing he choses to do/say but he is such a clever little bit with endless amounts of love and if you can see past the angry impulse side of things hes just a normal little boy to me. But I also understand how difficult it can be as he isn't always so simple to approach
