Special Needs Care in Epsom

| I have been working with children and young people with brain injuries and complex needs for the past 8 years. I have experience in tube feeds such as GT, NGT and JT. I am also experienced in suctioning and administering medication & rescue medication ( midazolam). I also help children who have epilepsy and other complex needs. Looking for some extra work in my spare time and to be able to plan fun activities for the individual. I also have a first Aid qualification/ certification.

| Hi! I have worked with special need children before but it was back when I was in college. I now work as a support worker caring for all sorts of special needs. I have a young adult who is Down syndrome, I keep taking new training to be able to expand my knowledge in this career. I used to work in a care home for a few years but wanted to do something different and work with younger people. | I am currently looking for a nanny position, potentially where I can bring one/both my children depending on days/hours. (Born 219 and 2021) I am friendly, caring and reliable, with a love for arts and crafts and exploring local areas. I have worked in schools and also as a nanny for over 10 years. During this time I have worked with children of all ages from newborn through to teenagers. I have worked with children with various special needs such as global delay, autism, mobility difficulties, deaf children, and more. I have a BA (without QTS) IN primary Teaching, 3 A levels and 10 GCSEs I also have first aid training and have completed Level 2 in British Sign Language.

| I am a young bubbly 26 year old who has been in the care industry for 7 years. I can adapt very easily to anything and love to get to know ways on making peoples lives that extra bit special!!! I have a level 3 diploma in health and social care and have worked in a variety of roles.

| I have worked in a social needs play centre since I was 17, this includes 1-1 all day whilst involved in play with others. We take them to the park and to the local shops. I have worked with kids with cerebral palsy, ADHD, ASD, kids with trachys: I have also worked in a school for the blind, 1 child I had worked with was dead and blind I found this a little bit challenging as my major on isn’t too great! But I enjoy a challenge. 1 child was completely blind that I worked with she was absolutely amazing I also looked after her at weekends at home, we developed a really good bond. I recently just finished working in an autistic unit in Battersea, I absolutely adored my job and the kids I worked with. I would do phonics with them and engage with play. Also would help with maths and English lessons. They were aged between 4-7
