I have worked for agency and worked in a care home for just over 2 years. I am passionate about working with the elderly as I believe they deserve the highest of treatment. Hello, My name is Holly. I am an extremely caring, patient and super friendly person. I have been working in care now for a few years. It started when I cared for my severely ill Granddad. I kept him company while my nan was out, helped prepare meals and run errors for both of them. Not only this, but I also helped care for my aunt who suffered from dementia. I would try and keep her mind active, try and remind her of nice memories, as well as little things like paint her nails etc. This is when I realised I wanted to work in care. After this I have gone on to work or various care companies in the area, and have done a lot of official training with all the companies. I love helping not only the patient but the other people around them, seeing how it could effect their life in such a little and positive way. I love doing a good thing, the feeling I get when I come home after an honest day of working is a wonderful feeling.
