| I worked in a retirement home as a server for about 1 and a half years before deciding to move to Scotland and focus on my studies. I did live with my grandparents and have experience with cooking, cleaning, pushing wheelchairs, amongst other things. I have always preferred to work with the elderly because of the life lessons I have been taught by my grandparents and elders in my life.

I have many years experience working with the elderly, I have worked in nursing homes as a care assistant, a job which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am now a Carer for a family member, I have been doing this for the last 2-3 years, my duties are helping with personal care, house work, helping with shopping, assisting with whatever is needed, and I get great satisfaction knowing what ever I do for this individual my help is appreciated.

| hello, I am a student at Stirling university but i don't mind travelling far if required. I have volunteered at an old age home back in my home country for a year or so. and I loved being around elderly people. I know things can get tough sometimes and require emotional support which i will be more than happy to provide. I understand the responsibility and the challenges that come along the way. I am happy to be emotionally available and run errands and anything that required. At days i will available for night-care too if needed. i am compassionate, caring and good with pets too.

| My name is Erin Im 22 and currently a student at the university of Stirling. I have previously worked for SCRT Stirling as a homecare assistant for 6 months, and Apollo homecare in Leeds as a live in care assistant for 2 months. As I am studying I am only looking for one shift a week, but happy to do a day shift and then a live in shift at night if that is needed, and am also happy to do night shifts. I am an active person, I spent the last year cycling from the north of South America, Colombia, to the south, Argentina. During this trip I met many different people and believe I am able to connect with most people. For me the most important quality as a health care assistant is being able to complete all care tasks whilst also giving the client their independence and not only making sure they are safe but also that they have company that is interested in them and who they are.
