Elderly Care in Staines

| Hey! Im Alix Im 21 I am friendly , bubbly and confident. I have 7 years experience in my day job within a recruitment office and 7 years experience looking after children on the weekends. As well as this I have spent my evenings looking after my elderly grandmother for the last 4 years till she sadly passed away this christmas. I also have experience as a companion in elderly homes in my local area. As I have recently been made unemployed and am not longer looking after my grandmother I have plenty of free time.

I have experience in all aspects of care for specialising in end of life dementia learning difficulties Parkinson's MS and complex needs also have training in regards to Falls putting exercises looking at all different AIDS ithat needed in a property to support clients to be independent. I can do capacity assessment and risk assessments . I can support with medication incontinent assessment and in regards to pressure cushion and dealing with pressure sores.

I was working with young adults with autism, epilepsy and learning difficulties, supporting them with personal care, meals preparations and daily activities, as well as supporting them in holidays and making them special. I was also working in care homes with elderly, providing day to day care, being a Dementia champion and having extended training in palliative care. During these years I did a bit of live-in care, also. Had a very good communication with the clients and their family as well. I have a caring , approachable nature. I am an open mind person and I have the desire to work with people of all ages and from all backgrounds.
