My DBS has recently been reissued.I have over 10 years experience of working with the elderly and can provide excellent references.I hold a full driving licence , have my own car and business insurance .

I now do private care work and am fully insured and have an enhanced DBS certificate. I have lots of caring experience with people with long term conditions, the elderly, people living with dementia and end of life care. I am fit and well, have a good sense of humour and really enjoy enabling people to live the best life they can and also supporting them at the end of their lives so that their dying is as comfortable and dignified as possible. | I currently work in a care home. I've been a cleaner which I liked but what I preferred most was when I became hostess as this gave me the opportunity to socialise a lot more with the residents. Basically I take food and beverages order serve up the meals however I find myself drawn to the conversation and social side of the job and often join in with the well being activities for the residents.

I have cared for a grandfather and a grandmother who have both had Alzheimer's disease. I took them to doctors visits and assisted with their household chores and shopping. I also took care of my step father who has Multiple Sclerosis, assisting with bathroom and dressing needs. I have not worked on a paid professional level.

| Hi! I have been a housekeeper/cleaner for over 8 years. I currently work 38 hours a week but I am looking to make some extra money with a few extra hours of work. I can do general housekeeping/cleaning and also help around the house. I can feed and walk your pets if need be as I am qualified in animal care and animal management and absolutely love animals!. | Retiring from professional nursing I went on to follow my dream, studying and practicing as al therapies practioner. Both backgrounds provided sound experience knowledge an immense satisfaction, having extra quality skills. I also played a part in mother's care (she had dementia). Broad nursing experience: adult and paediatric medicine, minor injuries, and high dependency surgical care. Nursing home manager (3 yrs) and worked in other homes, worked as a drug counsellor, one to one care, vaccination drive, etc through agencies Until lockdown was a self employed therapist and a volunteer therapist (local cancer charity). I have decided to expand this side of my skills again, having enjoyed being a releif carer/personal assistant since the pandemic and although I have made preparations to return to therapeutic work, it is unlikely that I will be operating in the same way, so my future plans are on hold. I am offering short sleep-in (maximum 1 week) or daytime releif companion (minimum 3 hours), with personal care, mobility assistance, fresh meal preparation and light housework. Other tasks are negotiable.
