Dementia Care North Norfolk

| I live in North Walsham with my partner. I really like the area and the community. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I have worked with various service users in social care for 21 years. I have supported people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and people with dementia and Alzheimer’s. I always treated each person as an individual. I worked within the community, residential care, day centre and nursing homes with a capacity of 54 service users. 1-1 support was provided to some of the service users as part of the care package. I also volunteered in a local charity shop as I wanted to immerse myself in the local community. I have an NVQ 3 in social care and relevant training in care.

| I have worked with the elderly who have dementia for 6 years, I previously worked in a residential care home, I left to look after my 18 month old twin boys. I hold a health and social care level 2 NVQ I’m also trained in medication. I’m always willing to help people out.

| I have over 30 years experience working in the healthcare industry, NHS, Hospital, Community Caring, Prisons, I have been highly skilled in Empathy and Dementia trained, very experienced in Clinical settings, Enhanced DBS. I have also trained in Mindfulness and a fully qualified hairdresser.

| Hi my name is Porsha, I am an experienced care giver, I have 10 years experience working in healthcare ranging from learning disabilities, to dementia care, to palliative care, to home care & nursing/residential homes, and most recently night shifts for end of life care. I am happy to chat to discuss your requirements, I will always go above and beyond to try to cater to everybody’s needs. I am very flexible with hours/times/days that you may require my assistance. Happy to help with any personal care requirements, experienced with catheters, stoma care, pressure sores.
