Responsible and experienced carer
| Thanks for looking at my profile. I'm Lithuanian and worked as live-in carer for more then 18 years. I've started to look after people in USA in 2001 and really enjoyed it. Since 2005 I'm working in UK as a self-employed care provider with live-in and live out positions. During these years I looked after quit a number of different condition people, including CP, MS, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, etc. I helped them not only with their day-to-day things, but also was helping them to organize out going and other activities as same as housekeeping things. Hardworking, honest, reliable, with good seance of humor. Like cooking and try new recipes. Very good references, clean driving licence, CRB certificate. Long hours shifts are my preference

Eunice looked after my mum who had both advanced vascular dementia and alzheimers from September 2018 until her passing in March 2019. It is no exaggeration to say that I knew immediately Eunice was the right lady to take care of my mum as soon as I met her as she is one of those people with an honest, open and smiling face that you take to straight away. Eunice was kindness itself towards my mum and improved her quality of life tremendously. In the early days, instead of laying in bed all day, refusing to wash, taking no interest in anything, after Eunice has visited my mum was engaged, clean and most importantly of all happy. In addition to coming up with numerous great suggestions to help my mum which I always implemented, I found the home ran smoother and I quickly came to rely upon her. What always struck me, particularly towards the end, was how my mum would smile when she saw Eunice who’s patience in caring for someone with this condition was limitless, she would sit with my mum for an hour just to get her to eat a small amount of food. I also lost count of the number of times I would ring Eunice in the evening or on a Sunday when I had an emergency with my mum and she dropped everything to rush over to help me, not an easy thing to do when she lived nearly 30 minutes away and has her own family to look after. Without asking, and completely outside of her remit as a carer, Eunice would clean the house for me, she hoovered, cleaned the bathroom, washed the kitchen floor and did the washing up and the laundry, the house was always immaculate and I would have no hesitation in employing Eunice as a cleaner myself if I had a bigger home. I also noticed that she was scrupulously honest, for instance, recording that she only worked 55 minutes instead of putting 1 hour down on her timesheet. If I am ever unfortunate enough to develop this cruel disease I hope I am lucky enough to have someone like Eunice taking care of me. In closing I would also like to say how much Eunice has also helped me personally by taking a great deal of the day to day stresses and worry away that I always had for my mum as I worked full time, I felt so much better just knowing she was there with my mum taking such good care of her."

Reliable carer for your loved one for long term period (live-in care position)
| I am highly professional, reliable, patient and well-mannered carer with over eight years of experience in live-in care. I come from Slovakia and can work on a self-employed basis. I speak fluent English. Welfare and dignity of my clients are at the heart of all I do, and I always create an environment where they can be safe, happy and well. My clients suffered from Dementia, Alzheimer, Polio. They were very happy with me. I have recent excellent references available upon request. I think I am a good listener and a calm person and a good cook, too. I specialise in caring for the elderly supporting them to live independently in the comfort of their own home. I am looking for an elderly lady or gentleman to look after (24/7 and just live-in - with my clients all the time in their house). My good friend works in the same position for more than 12 years. She could replace me during my days off. Don´t hesitate to contact me, please.

I really enjoy this work and couldn’t ask for better experience as my biggest dream is to become a doctor. If your parent is suffering from mild Dementia, Parkinson’s, MS or just needs a companionship and you need some time for yourself I’m here for you. I know how hard life gets when the loved ones are becoming more dependent on their families and you’ve got every right to seek help :)

I enjoy interacting with people and encouraging them to enjoy whatever life has to offer.
| I work part time as a registered support worker in a supported living house with learning difficulties. I have ongoing training in all aspects of care and hold a care certificate and current DBS. I also work with elderly clients with various types of dementia. I have worked with many delightful elderly people and their families in both a private capacity and as a registered health care worker with a company. I like the variety of interacting with all kinds and ages of people. I feel privileged to be able to assist people to transition through times in their lives which may be difficult to navigate or to just share stories and have a laugh together. Some of my previous jobs with my dementia clients involved taking them to swimming, companion cycling and lots of walks in local parks. Drives out for coffees, shopping, lunches, garden centres or just drives to places of interest. Some clients could not go out and we spent time listening to music and sharing stories.
