| Hi my name is Amanda , I think an elderly person should be looked after and not left, as a granddaughter I wouldn’t want no one left at home on Christmas waiting for someone to come and help them , I can provide care and give help where it is needed , I am a caring person growing up with my auntie who’s now 52 who has Down’s syndrome ,I think I come from a loving enough place to be able to sit and tell anyone I will look after and help an elderly person in there family , I come with kindness and manners , I have a bittersweet heart for a conversation with an elder person and would just sit and talk all day with a brew , as a young girl I never really took notice of how hard it was being old , until my Nan got sick and I watched my dad help her into the bath and make sure she had food she can get down , when she died is when I realised that I know everyone dies especially old people , but if I can help at least one elderly person not have to struggle to get a bath or get food they can eat , or not sit in there wee because they have no choice , then I will help because no one deserves too feel useless , and I'd be willing to help them any day .

This is a job I absolutely adored and would love to carry on but with the ability to work around my suddenly different time. I have had recent training but unfortunately we do not get to keep these certificates. I will be completing them again to keep me up to date.
