I have worked at the SPCA in Bermuda for 3 years in my summers off (3-4 month periods) and at that time I was able to gain skilful knowledge on a wide range of animals and how to handle them. When working there I was required to medicate, feed, clean, socialise and sometimes train animals. I also went out on calls with my peer animal caretakers to rescue animals who may have been hurt or abandoned so I am well versed in situations where the pressure may be on. In addition to working at the SPCA I also house sit animals quite frequently. So far all my clients have been very pleased with the care provided.
