I have been doing regular dog walking for friends for around a year. These have been small and medium-sized dogs. This has involved taking the dog for a short countryside walk and also in my local park and at the beach. I am always careful to keep the dog on a lead when walking on or near roads, and let them off in quieter areas such as countryside footpaths. I sometimes throw a ball for the dog to keep them entertained and exercised. I also make sure to pick up any fecal matter that the dog has deposited and dispose of this in small bin bags. Additionally I have owned my own cat for the last six and a half years and therefore know what is involved in caring for one. I feed him at regular times each day and clean out his litter tray. Once a week I give the tray a thorough washout and replace the litter. My cat sometimes enjoys cuddles and likes to sit on my lap. He likes it when I stroke his head and back softly.
