My love for animals started at a young age, I like cats and dogs. After years my mum, eventually caved and allowed me to have my first dog, Ollie. Being able to raise Ollie from a puppy, to him now being 9 years old has been a dream. I’ve looked after him every step of the way and have loved every second of it. Years after getting Ollie, I had my first experience with a pet cat Splinter. The contrast from a dog to a cat is different, however it’s the exact same love and affection you receive no matter what. Splinter was a lovely older cat, and is the main reason why I want a cat of my own so bad and I hope in the next couple of years to adopt my own cat. I’m very lucky to have experience in caring for both cats and dogs, and to enjoy the every day tasks of care that they need, such as walking, brushing, feeding etc and I would love to get more opportunities as I’ve recently moved away from home so unfortunately had to leave my pets behind.
