I am a first-year student pursuing mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. Having only just relocated to Edinburgh in September I am very enthusiastic about the opportunity to explore more areas with hopefully some furry friends. The move has left me missing my two dogs back at home, a 14-year-old Bichon Frise and a 5-year-old Poochon, who are opposites in temperament. This experience with both an older, more reserved dog and a lively playful one has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of their individual needs. I have cared for my friends’ dogs before whilst they have been away thus well-versed in following owner instructions meticulously. I am committed to upholding the well-being, happiness and safety of every dog. I am very excited about this opportunity. Thank you for considering my application.
