I'm Vera, a OFSTED registered childminder, I am also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) I live in Handsworth Birmingham. I have over 15 years experience of working with children from birth onwards, I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have worked as a Nursery manager for over 9 years, I have 2 children of my own aged 15 and 18. I have a Bachelor of Arts Honour Degree in Early Years and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Social Care, also Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. My premises is equipped with smoke alarms, fire blankets and stair safety gates, I offer a happy, warm, loving, secure and stimulating Home from Home environment with lots of educative activities. I am committed to delivering the Early Years Education to all children under the age of 5, giving them the life skills, firm foundation of knowledge, and social skills that they need to prepare them for school. This includes planning for learning experiences based on their needs and interest; I also aim to provide quality wrap-around care for school aged children, ensuring that they arrive at school on time in the morning and are collected and cared for until parents return from work.
