Hi, I am a qualified child-centred practitioner with over 10 years of experience influenced by Froebel & Expressive/Creative Arts/Play Therapy. I have a natural affinity with all children & really enjoy seeing the world through their eyes! I have recently completed Postgraduate Certificate with Merit in Counselling Studies, going onto an MA in Counselling, leading up to eventually have a career as children's counsellor. I am an extremely playful & creative practitioner with a lot of energy! I believe in sensory stimulation & exercise, especially getting out into nature & am very nurturing. I believe in attachment, yet also support children's independence. Influenced by Friedrich Froebel) I believe children learn through play, social & sensory experiences. I am very sensitive to the needs of individual children, as every child is different with their own personality & am extremely child-centred My main concern is making children feel safe, secure & loved, I get down to the child's level in a very playful way, laughter can dry any tears! I enjoy children of all ages & am very much into the creative side of childcare! I enjoy teaching children to use their imagination & also build confidence with music/drama/dance & play therapy
