I am a Durham graduate with over 8 years of experience looking after children ages 2-15, who can provide extensive references of my character and capabilities. I am currently on a gap year, starting a full-time job as a strategy consultant in January. I had to return home early from my travels three weeks ago due to the Covid-19 situation, hence am looking for a way to save money to travel in the latter half of the year. I preferably would like a live in position as my brother is a high risk individual and do not want to risk him by going back and forth. I approach childcare with a warm and patient approach, and am genuinely passion about fostering creativity, imagination and learning. My experience lies mostly in babysitting (bath-time, nappy-changing, homework, meal prep) but also part-time nannying roles which have included tasks such as school pick up and tutoring assistance. I am a confident and capable cook who is naturally organised and tidy. I have a recent enhanced DBS certificate, and as mentioned, can provide references on demand.
