While in education I studied childcare as part of my GCSE’s, then continued to study for another year in collage. While in education I took part in a varied range of different placements and have a lot of experience with different age groups ranging from 3 months - 6 years. When I finished collage I was given the opportunity to work along side professionals in the social work department. I supported a young child (age 5) in foster care. Responsibilities of this role include; collecting the child from school, assisting with homework, preparing meals and implementing a night time routine. This ensured the child had a sense of normality and routine. I am hard working, reliable and very passionate about childcare.
