Childcare in Newtownabbey

| I offer childcare evenings and weekends. I currently work for Cleargroup in one of their private daycares as baby room leader and safeguarding officer, however I have previously worked with children of all different ages and often babysit for a variety of ages. I grew up the eldest in my family so have always loved caring for little ones and setting up activities etc to be the fun cousin. I am unfortunately allergic to dogs so wouldn’t be available to care for children in a house with dogs.

| Hi there ! My goal since primary school was to be a teacher ! I went to R.B.A.I and was a prefect and mentor for the new first years that were coming into the school. I went to Stranmillis university for two years and gained so much experience threw it ! Including working in an integrated primary school for a full year. I then left uni and worked at a special needs school looking after all sorts of ages and conditions from mute children to severe autism. I’ve worked with children now for around 5/6 years from the age of 2 to 20 and I’ve loved every second of it. I now play the piano every Friday and Saturday night at the Grand Central Hotel but i am free Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. My love for childcare has never ceased and with so much experience I cannot let it go to waste ! I have had so much life experience from being in st Johns Ambulance to dealing with children who were being bullied. I look forward to hearing from you ! Many thanks, James

| I have my Level 2 and Level 3 in childcare. I love looking after children. Helping and playing with them. I am a trustworthy person and I am a willing caring person. I have my own car and I live in Newtownabbey. I am looking for after school work

| While in education I studied childcare as part of my GCSE’s, then continued to study for another year in collage. While in education I took part in a varied range of different placements and have a lot of experience with different age groups ranging from 3 months - 6 years. When I finished collage I was given the opportunity to work along side professionals in the social work department. I supported a young child (age 5) in foster care. Responsibilities of this role include; collecting the child from school, assisting with homework, preparing meals and implementing a night time routine. This ensured the child had a sense of normality and routine. I am hard working, reliable and very passionate about childcare.
