I am a primary school teacher with over a decade of teaching experience, but I also have an additional 7 years of experience as a play worker supporting children with Additional Support Needs, and had a supervisory role for 4 of those years. I have experience of looking after children from age 4-16 in the play environment. I can prepare snacks and meals, attend to personal care needs and support toileting, keep good hygiene practises and will support regular hand washing. I enjoy reading stories, playing with Lego, going for walks, playing outside in the garden and arts and crafts- but will play along with your child no matter what toys they choose. I am also a mother to an older teenager so have personal experience of babies and younger children and informal experience of that age group through babysitting for friends and family.
