My name is Karlie and while I officially trained as a secondary school teacher, I enjoy working with young people of all ages. I have recently relocated from New Zealand to live in Edinburgh. I enjoy staying active, enjoying the outdoors, reading and exploring my new home! I am a registered secondary school teacher in New Zealand and Scotland. I have extensive experience with children from newborn ranging through to teenagers as I have been babysitting my family members from a young age. I have undertaken volunteer positions working with young people, including on speciality camping opportunities for children living with cancer and teaching English as a second language in Peru. I would like to find a nanny job where I can form a positive and long term relationship with a family so that the children have the best environment to experience the world in. My approach involves letting children explore the world around them safely. I love getting outdoors, attending various classes and setting up messy play tasks. I love travelling and would be happy to accompany your family on trips if required.
