As a big sister, I have always been a natural caregiver and nurturer. I am originally from Argentina, but I have been living in the UK since I was 8 years old. I am currently a Master’s student, undergoing a degree in Comparative Literatures, and working in a part-time bookshop. I am very passionate about storytelling, and enjoy learning. I have experience working with kids aged 2-11 years old after working at a Kids Summer Camp. Here, I was responsible for organising the arts and crafts table, where every day I would work with the kids to create something new using recycled materials we had on hand. I also organised “messy play” activities, such as sand boxes, ice blocks with toys inside, finger painting, and an Orbeez tray, to encourage their interaction with other textures. This was an extremely motivating job and building a relationship with the children was invaluable. I also have experience doing casual babysitting for friends. Here, I assisted in the after school pick-up and the children’s nightly routine (bath time, dinner time, story time, and bed). I really enjoy working with children, as I admire their creativity, and I feel that I am a responsible, hard-working and diligent person right for the job.
