I have 3 years experience in childcare. My main roles were to manage the small team of staff in my room as well as 6-12 children aged 0-2. This really gave me a feel for the working world as well as helped me discover my passion in caring for others - specifically children. During my time here I was given a lot of responsibility, such as opening and closing the nursery, preparing meals, changing and bathing children, putting children to sleep, parents evening and being in charge of trips out. I was also lucky enough to go on various courses to widen my knowledge on Early Years, specifically working effectively with children with special needs. I have also had numerous babysitting jobs.
