I am looking for temporary nanny work during summer holidays. Since having children I have worked in childcare for over 15 years, firstly at a after school / holiday club (2002), then at a pre school (2006). I currently work for 2 families before and after school, during school holidays if required. I also work at a Montessori Nursery, my favourite activity at nursery is Forest School. I have been a Self Employed Nanny since 2012 with several families. Caring for children aged 2 to 12 years, in their own home, doing school / pre school run, taking to after school clubs/activities, and entertaining with various activities both indoors and outside both term time and during school holidays, help with homework. I enjoy all aspects of childcare especially play, I believe that early learning through play, children gain such positive feedback they become eager to learn. I always considered children's interests and encouraged children to join in planning activities. Education is important, I try to get an even balance, even fun activities have an educational value, for example making cakes, you will cover, numeracy, literacy, science and life skills.
