I have had a number of years experience working with children from a range of different ages, as the youngest being 10 weeks up to school ages. I have worked and currently work in a friendly nursery supporting staff and children as a senior practitioner. I currently ensure that all staff are familiar with daily responsibilities following policies and procedures that adhere to the nursery requirements. I am currently working in the baby room, and work around each child's individual routine such as bottle/feeding times or sleep routine. I have often done settlings in for new parents and children and will often fill in a care plan with parents to get as much information as possible before the child starts. I can work extremely well as a team member or as an individual but making sure the best possible care is maintained on a daily basis. I completed a Diploma in Childcare and Education level 3 as soon as I left college which I completed over 2 years.
