Hi. I'm Tate, currently a student at Northumbria University studying psychology with criminology.
| In the past i have looked after kids in London aged 7-12 helping with homework, preparing foods and activities. I have also looked after young adults with learning difficulties, looking after them over week of their holiday, doing activities with them and getting them ready for the day and night. I love sports, specifically rugby, football and cricket. I can help with tutoring and art, doing it at A level and doing sketches at the moment when i can. I am grade 6 cello and play the piano when i can at home teaching my self music, i've also just started taking up DJ. I've had been apart of hospitality jobs in the past during summers and gap year. Know matter how much they annoy me, I love my siblings, I am one of three, and understand and I have emotional intelligence with dealing with children and sensitive to there needs. I am a student studying English and Creative writing at Sunderland University and I am planning to teach primary/secondary school level English when I graduate. This career choice has made me passionate about helping children. I have been babysitting around my local area, Durham since I was around 13 years old and since then have looked after newborn to early teenage children. The tasks of looking after the children are very different dependent upon age. When looking after newborn/early toddlers, I did everything from changing nappies to reading them stories, feeding them bottles/food and keeping them entertained. When looking after the older children I would normally babysit them on a weekend at night, therefore I would give them there supper and help them with any homework they had, and I was a referee during any sibling rivalry.

Hello, I am Chelsea, I’m currently a student nurse at Northumbria university studying child nursing.
| My experience: Placement at a local Nursery in my home town: I did this placement as part of my college course (Health and Social Care), I did this for around 6-8 weeks. I worked 4-5 days a week 5-6 hours a day. I looked after children from the age of 18months to 4/5 years old. My main responsibilities here were to play and teach the children, feed them, teach them right and wrong and praise them for good behaviour. Babysitting for Family/friends: I did this over a few years, during school holiday, weekends and some weekdays. I would babysit for 4-5 hours a day. I looked after children from as young as 2 years old to children up to 12 years old. My main responsibilities here were, to play/entertain the child, cook for them and feed them, change them, put them down for a nap. Looking after juniors at Sea Cadets (kids club: I was a senior cadet for 3.5 years. Training nights were on Tuesday and Friday for 3 hours a night. I looked after the younger cadets who ranged from 10 years old to 13 years old. My main responsibilities were, teach them how to keep their uniform in good order, teaching them skills, and being there for any of there problems or needs.
