I have previously cared for children of all ages. My duties have included: Preparing breakfast lunch and evening meals. Overseeing play time and scheduled social activities with friends after school. Taking children on walks, outings and educational trips. Helping with homework. Reading with and to children (library trips included). Taking children swimming. Undertaking housekeeping duties. Creating a positive child care environment whilst nurturing self esteem. I find nothing more rewarding than seeing children thrive. I love to see and help them learn and enjoy learning on every level. It makes me happy to watch them grow into positive young individuals. I believe it is important to develop close relationships with both children and families.

Hi, I am Kelly, I am 31 and I have a 13 month old son. I live in my own house with my partner who is a primary teacher. I have my own car and can look after your child or children from home. I live in Chatham and am available day and night but I have my little boy with me except during school holidays when my baby stays at home with his dad. I also have 17 nieces and nephews - in there are two sets of twins. I maybe the person you have been looking for. I know you are worried, I would just like to put your heart to rest a bit. I can assure you that your children would be well looked after like they were my own. I would keep in contact with you throughout the day with our activities and pictures, with your permission of course. They would have my son to play with too. We like singing and having a good old boogie, we read, and talk a lot. He may be a 1 year old but he knows what I am saying. We go soft play at least once a week, the park, and he loves a ride in the car, but he does love a rest day too. I hope this helps with your worries. | I worked as a play school teacher for 1 year in my home place. There I was taking care of around 5-6 kids. They are below 4 years old. From morning to evening I was spending time with them. Teaching, feeding and playing with them were my main tasks. At start, it was little harder for me, then I found how to handle kids being friendly with them. It was a wonderful experience being with them.
