Hello, my name is Erlinda. I have been a nanny for the past 9 years to one family, looking after a girl and a boy, age 5 and 7. I do everything for them from morning to night. I cook all meals for them. I also take them to the park and playground. I also arrange play group in the home after school.

I have four younger siblings so I have essentially been babysitting for the better part of my life but I also have experience babysitting in professional environments. When I was in year 12, I was a sports leader for children aged 7-11 and in addition to preparing sports-related activities for them, I was in charge of caring for the children and ensuring their safety. There was always at least one supervisor who was with me should anything go wrong (though this was never the case). Furthermore, I have assisted at local nurseries, looking after children around 3 and 4, as part of work experience whilst I was in year 11 and 12 and again, there were always teachers present should there have been any issues (which again, there never were). I have completed a DBS check early this year, as I was in the process of being a volunteer at my local hospital and completing a DBS check was one of the requirements.
