| I have just moved from London to Godalming and am currently looking to join a lovely family on a part time- basis. I am available for 3 full days per week or as an afternoon nanny, for evening babysitting and can do extra hours for school holidays too. I am very reliable and punctual and have a strong understanding of what childcare roles involve. I've worked with children from the ages of 4-12. I am nurturing, fun, yet able to set firm boundaries too. I like spending time with children and enjoy hearing their often very interesting takes on the world around us! My previous jobs duties were as follows: *School drop off and pick up *Overseeing homework *Cooking nutritious meals for the children *Arranging play dates and outings *Taking care of their needs such as preparing them for school trips and ensuring they had everything they needed on a day to day basis *Laundry and bedding change (children's only) *Liaising with their parents on matters and other parents too. My nursery can not accommodate my daughter therefore I am pursuing my career in nannying so I can accommodate my daughter as well. I have Childcare Level 3, First Aid and Safeguarding training. | I have been working with children for 14 years. I started working with children in a Nursery school after completing a Diploma in childcare and education. At the nursery I worked with Children aged from 6 months to 4 years. I then decided to go to University to gain more knowledge and a better understanding of children. I went to Leeds Met to study a BA (hons) in Playwork, where I worked with youth offenders and also in a children's hospital on my work experience placements. Whilst I was at university, I worked as an after school nanny, which I enjoyed doing, so when I finished University, I decided to work full time as a nanny. I loved working directly with children again, I did this for about year and a half before choosing to work with children with behavioural difficulties in a pupil referral unit. I then went on to work as a Family Support worker for children's services in Surrey which is where I still am now. I am now a Mum myself and have a 3 year old daughter and a 20 month old son.
