Children are the future "us", so to be able to help shape the people that will eventually take over from us is quite an important job! I was in the process of becoming a nanny in Paris two years ago until I met my partner and went to live with his family in Australia-they moved out there from England seven years ago. I now want to start the process again. I have a three year old niece whom I love very much. To see her learn and grow everyday is simply mesmerising and, to know that I have been a part of that process is really special. I used to accompany my mother on her annual school trips to France, as she was a French teacher and took children aged 11/12. Here I helped everyone out-in charge of evening activities etc, helping out with group work. I feel overall that I am a very strong candidate to become someone's nanny and would love to be considered.

I am a happy, caring, loving and energetic individual with a passion in caring for children. I am highly approachable and easy to get along with. I have a kind and cheerful personality that shows in everything I do! I have a good imagination to plan activities that are fun and that also help development. I currently work as a supply teaching assistant in different primary school in and around Lancashire, working with children from the ages of 4 to 12 years. Before this job, I worked voluntarily at a mainstream primary school, working with a year 1 class (5 years of age). I was nanny for three years to a baby from the age of 2 weeks to 3 years. I have babysat my younger sibling since he was a baby up until he was 11 as a weekend job and the occasional night. I am the family and friend number one babysitter as they 100% trust me. My dream job is to be a nanny! I just think it is the perfect job for me, being apart of children's development and growth is so rewarding. I'm extremely mature, responsible and reliable, but a child at heart and enjoy bringing my funside out whilst we take part in fun activities, but at the same time always sensible.

I have got 3 distinction stars in public service and recently qualified my level 2 in childcare were I am working as an apprentice in a nursery. I have got one year of experience in this and also have multiple hours of experience with children as i babysit for my cousins age 1 to 5. | My last job was working in primary schools presenting after school science clubs and also doing science themed birthday parties. I am used to looking after both small and large groups of children. I just spent 4 months living with my friend in California that has severe health problems and needed a live in nanny for her two young boys (4 and 5 yrs old) this was a full time care position that included cooking for them and feeding them, household chores, driving the boys to appointments, taking them on days out, for exercise etc. And bathing them and putting them to bed at the end of the night. It is a role I am extremely comfortable in and feel I do very well, I have always enjoyed looking after and working with children it is a job I find very rewarding.

At the start of the day, I feed the child breakfast, then it's bath time, them get them ready. By that point they will be ready to do learning actives with a light food snack, after the learning actives its time for lunch. After the child has had an healthy lunch it time to play outdoors or indoors depending on the parents choice on that day. After that, its a nap time, after the nap its playtime again then its story time and learning time, after that its tea time with dress up play time, then its bedtime routine after that point the parents are home and its time for me to go. During the time the child naps I do the house work as in sorting clothes, washing cleaning and even making the adults their evening meal.
