Nannies in Wigan

| Hi, my name is Emma and I am a registered childminder in Tyldesley close to Astley Street Park. I have been working in childcare for the past 20 years. I have worked in nurseries and as a nanny. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and thrive. Most of my experience is from working in nurseries with children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. I have also been a nanny for one child for 4 years from them being 5 months old to them going to school. Indoors I have a large playroom dedicated to children. I am regulated by the EYFS guidelines, so my activities are varied - I provide messy play, arts and crafts, dressing up, reading, cooking, singing and lots more. I am a few minutes’ walk away from Astley street park. I have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children's Learning Care & Development. I am DBS checked and I am also qualified in Paediatric first aid.

| My name is Megan and I am 20 years old. I hold a certificate in Level 2 childcare and also a Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education, with an overall grade of A*. I have a clean up to date DBS certificate, Level 3 First Aid certificate and hold a valid UK driving license, no points and I own a reliable car. I currently work in a private day nursery 2 days a week due to furthering myself in education the other 3 days a week. Whilst working I have undergone multiple training courses such as Allergy & Intolerance, behaviour management and Safeguarding. I have had experience in working in private day nursery's and also in primary school settings. I have excellent knowledge of children, routines, the EYFS and the National Curriculum, I treat the children I work with as they are my own, with care and respect. | I worked in a range of roles within the care industry before starting my teaching career and am now looking to return to a role in a new capacity as a Nanny. I’ve worked in a number of settings with different age ranges as a qualified English teacher and am keen to work more closely with children and young people.
